Saturday 8 June from 2.00 p.m. onwards - traditional Midsummer event at the Foxgrove Club, Beckenham, featuring well known singer from Estonia, Boris Lehtlaan, and Tiit Saluveer. Tickets are available on the London Estonian Society website - www.londonieestiselts.co.uk. Organisers: London Estonian Society, Estonian Guild in London and London Estonian School.

Sunday 16 June – Remembrance Service commemorating the deportation of Estonians, Latvians and Lithuanians to Siberia in 1941. St. James’ Church, Piccadilly, London W1.

Saturday 22 June - Midsummer event at the Bradford Estonian Club. Great bonfire!

EESTI HÄÄL

The May issue of Eesti Hääl has articles about the World Estonian Congress in Toronto, President Ilves' visit to Toronto, the AGMs of the Bradford Estonian Club and the London Estonian House as well as a page with contributions from the children at the Estonian School in London for Mothers' Day. The interview is with Ave Siilak, Chair of the London Estonian Society. There is also a book review of "Forest Brothers" by Geraint Roberts (in English) as well as an English summary of the main news content.
